Watch-out for this 'killer', exposed manhole on Fife Road, Colombo. Find this on th pavement on the other side of the road, opposite Tasty Caterers. This is at least 5+ feet deep and ready to injure or even kill someone...! Trust CMC is responsible for the up keeping of this road.

When we were kids (I am 56 now), my dad would avoid Randoli Road and Fife Road area and would never drive through that area after dark. It is believed that JR had a 'friend' there (I have seen her and she looked just like Elena) who ran the post office... JR helped those people to become 'middle class'. It is these types (most of them) of people who were all for the Aragalaya too, I believe... Anyway, to the point, I wonder if you have any pictures of that area during the 1975 period? Even today, if I park at Geovanni's after 8PM the odd 'woman' would try to 'get in my car'... Thank you.
