whether the intentions of the british government in sending an envoy to SL was good or not is debatable, but the british govt's "taken for granted" patronising attitude that expected the SL govt to embrace them with open arms is laughable, apparently the envoy was sent to SL without prior discussion with the SL govt..a naked diplomatic blunder on th part of the UK.
